How the queue works

1. Set up your time slots — go to Queue Settings and define recurring slots per channel. A slot is a day of the week and a time: Monday at 10 AM for Instagram, Tuesday at 3 PM for LinkedIn, and so on. You can have as many slots per channel as you like.
2. Compose as normal — write your post, pick channels and media from the same compose box you always use for social posts, reels, stories and videos.
3. Hit "Add to queue" — instead of picking a date and time, click Add to queue. LigiComms looks at the next 14 days of your channel's schedule, finds the first unfilled slot, and assigns that date and time to your post automatically.
4. The calendar fills itself. Keep queuing posts and the slots fill in order — earliest first. You can always drag or reschedule from the content calendar if you want to swap things around.

Per-channel slots — each platform gets its own rhythm

Slots are set per channel, not globally. Instagram might post three times a week; LinkedIn once; YouTube only on Fridays. Each channel fills from its own queue independently, so a gap on one channel never delays a post on another.

Queue + content approval workflow

The queue is fully compatible with the content approval workflow. When a reviewer approves a post and chooses "publish via queue", the post is dropped into the next available slot for that channel — so approved content lands at the right time without the reviewer having to think about scheduling.

What the 14-day lookahead means

When you add a post to the queue, LigiComms scans the next 14 days of that channel's slot schedule to find the first empty slot. If all slots in the next 14 days are already filled, you will see a notice and can either pick a specific date manually or wait for a slot to open up. 14 days is enough to keep a realistic content rhythm without scheduling so far ahead that plans become irrelevant.
