FAQ

How can we help?

Everything you need to know about LigiComms — channels, messaging, pricing, security and support. Can't find it here? Talk to us.

Getting started

What is LigiComms?

It's one place to run all your social media and customer messaging. Instead of posting on Instagram, then Facebook, then sending WhatsApp updates separately, you write your message once here and it goes out everywhere — ten social networks plus WhatsApp, email and SMS, from a single compose box.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — 14 days, free, and we don't ask for a card to start. Sign up, connect your accounts, and you can be posting the same day.

What happens after my 14-day trial ends?

Your account stays intact — nothing gets deleted. You just pick a plan (Basic or Pro) and continue where you left off. If you don't upgrade, you can still log in to download your data, but posting and messaging pause until you subscribe.

Do I need technical skills to use it?

Not at all. If you can post from your phone, you can use LigiComms. Connecting an account is a simple one-time step, and after that a post takes a few seconds. If you get stuck, a real person helps you.

Who is LigiComms for?

Anyone who wants to be seen online without hiring an agency — solo creators, and local businesses like salons, clinics, gyms and shops, right up to growing brands. If you're posting everything by hand today, this is built for you.

How many social accounts can I connect?

There's no cap on connected accounts. You can link as many Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Telegram, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky and Tumblr accounts as your business needs — all included in your plan, no per-account fee.

Channels & publishing

Which social channels can I publish to?

Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest, YouTube, Telegram, Bluesky and Tumblr — ten social networks from the same compose box. And WhatsApp, email and SMS when you want to message customers directly. That's 13 channels total.

Can I publish a reel to Instagram and YouTube at once?

Yes — this is a favourite. Upload one vertical video and it goes up as an Instagram Reel and a YouTube Short together, each in the right shape, with no re-uploading. LinkedIn, Pinterest, Telegram and X also accept short-form video from the same upload. See the full breakdown on the Reels & Shorts page.

Can I write a different caption for each channel?

Yes. Your photos and video stay the same, but each channel gets its own caption and hashtags — so a tweet stays within 280 characters while your Instagram post stretches to 2,200. Or just write it once and copy it across.

Can I schedule posts in advance?

Yes. Post right now, or line it up for later — a festival morning, a weekend sale — and see everything laid out on a content calendar so nothing slips through. If a scheduled post misses its slot for any reason, we flag it and let you decide what to do rather than firing it late.

Does it support long-form video?

Yes. Short reels and longer videos both work — the longer ones go to the channels that support them: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Can I post Instagram Stories or Facebook Stories?

Yes. Upload an image or a short vertical video, pick your Instagram or Facebook account, and it goes up as a Story. The same compose flow handles reels, stories, regular posts and long videos — you just pick the format.

Does LigiComms support LinkedIn?

Yes. Connect your LinkedIn account and publish as your company page — text posts, single images and videos. Comments, replies and engagement counters (likes and comments) show up inline on the Social Posts page, just like every other channel.

Can I post to Telegram from LigiComms?

Yes. Add your Telegram bot token and the channel's chat ID, and LigiComms handles the rest — text, photo and video messages go directly to your Telegram channel. Comments from the linked discussion group show up inline too.

WhatsApp, Email & SMS

Do I need separate tools for WhatsApp, SMS and email?

No — and honestly that's the main reason people switch to us. Most tools only do social posts, so you end up paying for a second app just to reach customers on WhatsApp or SMS. Here it's all in one place: templates, sending, delivery tracking and an inbox to see replies.

How does WhatsApp work in LigiComms?

Each business connects its own WhatsApp number through Meta's Embedded Signup — a one-click popup, takes about two minutes. After that you create message templates, submit them to Meta for approval (usually 15 to 30 minutes), and send broadcasts to your customers. Replies land in the Sociobox inbox, and you can respond within the 24-hour window WhatsApp allows. See the full guide on the WhatsApp Broadcasts page.

Do you support WhatsApp Business templates?

Yes. You create templates inside LigiComms, submit them to Meta for review, and track their approval status — Pending, Approved or Rejected — right from the dashboard. You can preview exactly how a template will look on a phone before you send it.

Why do WhatsApp templates get rejected?

The most common reasons are picking the wrong category (marketing vs utility vs authentication), using aggressive promotional language like all-caps or multiple exclamation marks, including shortened or non-branded URLs, and missing personalisation variables. Templates also need to stay under 1,000 characters. If one gets rejected, create a fresh version — Meta doesn't allow resubmission of the same template.

How much does a WhatsApp message cost?

Meta charges per delivered template message, billed in Indian rupees since January 2026. Marketing messages run around ₹0.78 to ₹0.88, utility and authentication messages around ₹0.11 to ₹0.13 each. When a customer messages you first, your replies within the next 24 hours are free. LigiComms deducts a small per-message amount from your wallet that covers Meta's fee plus a modest margin — if the message fails to deliver, the credit comes straight back.

Is your SMS DLT-compliant for India?

Yes. Every SMS goes through DLT-registered templates and sender IDs, exactly as TRAI requires. We support both Fast2SMS (India-focused, cost-effective) and Plivo (global reach). If you haven't done DLT registration yet, it's a one-time process — register your entity, sender IDs and templates on any one telecom operator's DLT portal (Airtel, Jio, Vodafone or others) and they sync across all networks automatically.

What is DLT and do I need it to send SMS in India?

DLT stands for Distributed Ledger Technology — it's TRAI's mandatory registration system for commercial SMS in India, in effect since 2022. Every business that sends bulk SMS must register its entity (around ₹5,900 including GST, one-time), its sender IDs (the six-character header recipients see) and every message template. Without it, telecom operators will block your messages at the network level. The full process takes roughly 7 to 10 working days if your documents are in order. See the full setup guide on the DLT-Ready SMS page.

What documents do I need for DLT registration?

Your business PAN card, GST certificate, a company registration certificate (or a valid address and identity proof for individuals) and an authorised signatory letter. You also need your planned sender IDs and the text of every message template you want to send. Register on any one DLT operator portal — Airtel, Jio, Vodafone, BSNL, Tata Tele, Vilpower or Smartping — and the registration syncs to all networks.

Is bulk SMS legal in India?

Yes, fully legal when you follow TRAI's rules. You need DLT registration, and your messages must go through approved templates and sender IDs. Promotional SMS can only be sent between 10 AM and 9 PM and is blocked to numbers on the national Do Not Disturb registry unless you have verified digital consent. Transactional and service messages — order confirmations, appointment reminders, OTPs — can be sent 24/7 and bypass DND.

Can I use my own email and SMS provider?

Yes. Plug in your own SMTP credentials for email (we auto-fill settings for Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and Zoho) and your own SMS provider account. Or just use our defaults to get going. Either way, credentials are encrypted at rest — we never store them in plain text.

Pricing & billing

How does pricing work?

You pay a plan for the platform and your team, billed in rupees through Cashfree. Posting to social media is included at no per-post cost — you only pay extra for SMS and WhatsApp messages, and only for the ones you actually send, from a prepaid credit wallet.

How much does LigiComms cost per month?

Plans start at ₹599/month for the Basic plan (up to 5 team members), ₹1,599/month for Pro (up to 20 members), and ₹2,599/month for Premium (up to 50 members) — all billed in rupees, with quarterly and yearly options at a lower effective rate. Every plan includes all 13 channels, unlimited social posts, AI captions and the full inbox. The only per-unit costs are SMS and WhatsApp messages, deducted from your wallet balance. A 14-day free trial needs no card.

Is social publishing really free?

For nine out of ten social networks — yes. Posting to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest, YouTube, Telegram, Bluesky and Tumblr is included in your plan with no per-post charge. The one exception is X (Twitter), which charges a small per-post fee because the X API itself is paid.

How do message credits work?

You keep a prepaid credit balance in your wallet, in rupees for Indian accounts. Each SMS or WhatsApp message deducts a fixed amount — the rate depends on the channel and category (for example, a DLT SMS in India costs a few paisa, a WhatsApp marketing message costs a bit more). If a message fails to deliver, that credit is automatically refunded. You can see every deduction and refund in your wallet ledger.

Do you offer quarterly or yearly billing?

Yes. Every plan can be paid monthly, quarterly or yearly. Longer billing cycles come at a lower effective monthly rate. Your plan renews at the end of the cycle, and any remaining days carry forward on a renewal. Upgrades take effect immediately.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Payments go through Cashfree and are billed in Indian rupees — cards, UPI and net banking. Your card details stay with the payment gateway; we never see them or store them. Recharge amounts include GST and a small gateway fee, all shown before you pay.

Security & privacy

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your social account keys and messaging credentials are AES-encrypted at rest. The browser never holds any tokens — they stay server-side. Every connection runs over HTTPS with HSTS enforced, and we set security headers (X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy) on every response.

Do you store my channel passwords?

No — we don't keep your social passwords. We only hold the secure 'permission token' each platform gives us to post for you, encrypted, and you can revoke that permission any time by disconnecting the account from your dashboard.

Do you sell my data?

Never. We don't sell your information or your customer list — not to advertisers, not to anyone. Your contacts are yours, full stop.

Where is my data stored?

We're an Indian company — LigimeX, in Lucknow — and your data is handled under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act). We publish a full privacy policy, a data processing agreement and a security page so you can see exactly how we handle information.

What happens if a payment fails or a webhook is lost?

Payments are verified at multiple levels. If a payment gateway webhook doesn't reach us (network glitch, temporary downtime), a background job picks up the pending order within minutes, checks its status directly with the gateway, and settles it automatically. No manual follow-up needed, no lost payments.

Account & support

Can my team collaborate in LigiComms?

Yes. Invite your team — as many as your plan allows (up to 5 on Basic, up to 20 on Pro). Everyone works from the same dashboard, posting and replying together. Permissions are role-based, so you control who can publish, who can send messages and who has read-only access.

What's the difference between Admin and Staff roles?

The Admin is the account owner — they manage the subscription, billing, settings, channels and staff invitations. Staff members can view, send, reply and preview, but can't create posts, manage channels or invite others. The SuperAdmin role is reserved for the platform operator.

How do I get support?

Message us on WhatsApp, email us at info@ligicomms.in, or call — or reach us right from your dashboard. A real person answers, usually within a few working hours. We're based in Lucknow and work Indian business hours.

Who builds LigiComms?

It's built and run by the LigimeX team in Lucknow — the same people who've been building software for businesses since 2022, with experience across 12+ industries and 18+ projects. That means honest pricing and actual humans to talk to, not a faceless support queue.

AI & automation

Does LigiComms have AI features?

Yes. The compose box includes an AI assistant that can generate captions, suggest hashtags and even recommend trending hashtags — all tuned to the channel you're posting to. A caption generated for X respects the 280-character limit; one for Instagram can stretch to 2,200 characters. You can also pick a copywriting framework like AIDA or PAS to shape the tone.

Is the AI caption safe to use?

Every prompt is sanitised before it reaches the AI model, and the model is instructed to ignore anything embedded in your input that tries to override its instructions. There's a rate limit (30 requests per hour per account) and a character cap on input to prevent misuse. The AI is a writing assistant — it drafts, you review and edit before anything goes live.

Can I set a default writing style for my brand?

Yes. Go to your AI settings and pick a default copywriting framework — AIDA, PAS or whichever suits your brand voice. Every AI-generated caption will follow that framework unless you override it on a specific post.

CRM & pipeline

Does LigiComms have a CRM?

Yes — a full contact and deal management system built right into the dashboard. You can add contacts manually, import them from a CSV, track their status from first touch to closed deal, and see everything on a visual Kanban pipeline. No separate CRM tool, no extra subscription. See the full breakdown on the CRM & Pipeline page.

How does lead scoring work?

You define scoring rules — for example, 'has a WhatsApp number = +20 points' or 'budget above ₹50,000 = +30 points'. LigiComms auto-scores every contact and ranks them as hot (70+), warm (30–69) or cold (below 30). Your team sees the score right in the contacts list so they know who to call first. Rules are fully customisable from Pipeline Settings.

Can I import contacts from a CSV or Excel file?

Yes. A three-step import wizard walks you through it: upload your file, map the columns to contact fields (name, email, mobile, WhatsApp, tags), preview the first ten rows, and confirm. If something goes wrong, you can roll back the entire import — contacts that haven't been messaged yet are removed, ones already messaged are kept.

What is the cold pool?

Leads that go stale (no activity for days), reach the maximum number of contact attempts, or are marked as not interested move to the cold pool automatically. A manager can review them there and either recycle them back to the active queue — optionally assigning them to a specific rep — or delete them permanently. Nothing is lost silently.

How does lead auto-assignment work?

Turn on auto-assignment from Pipeline Settings, pick an algorithm (load-balanced is the default), and set a maximum leads-per-rep cap. You can route high-scoring leads to a top performer, limit the assignment pool to a specific department, and create score-tier rules so hot leads go to seniors and cold leads go to juniors. The system distributes incoming leads automatically — no manual spreadsheet shuffling.
